I have an acer aspire 5517 it has a standard vga (blue female port) and I'm trying to figure out a way to connect it to the home tv so that the whole family can enjoy the free movies via youtube and other sites.
The local guy at radio shack says it can't be done, but for some reason I feel as if I can't trust the him since he also happens to be the local druggie.
I've already called radio shack looking for a vga to hdmi but he says its not possible that way.
Is it possible? if so, what cable do I need to buy? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
