we put the shoes on and now we cant put the drum back on because the shoes are out to far. there is no adjusting bar thats is used on most cars. so if someone knows how to make it where the shoes come together so we can put the drum back on, it would be great.

1 pop off top of brake fluid resovour..get big C clamp to squish brakes togther if you cant with hand power,,, wheel cylinder should compress.

oh yes there,s adjustment bar. see that thing that looks like a star. turn it in some and the shoes will go in too so the drum will fit. if it,s missing then either the springs are weak or the wheel cylinders are hanging up. if ther,s no adjustment then how are you going to adjust them when they start to wear down?

There is a brake fluid drain valve behind the plate. Open it slightly to relieve the pressure then close it quickly to keep air from getting into the system. This should allow you to push in the shoes.
