is it easy to do it by yourself and how long will it take. also is it expensive. please help. i asked if my light bulbs were the problem but found out that its probably my headlights themselves. how do i replace them? please get back.

The headlight assembly is just a lens. You dont need to replace it unless it it physically broken or cracked.

If you replaced the bulb and it still dont work, try replacing the plug and harness.

Often the contacts get burned out or corroded and the lamp wont work.

Your car has a sealed beam headlight assembly, meaning you only have to replace the bulb itself.
1. Raise your hood, 2. there should be a piece of plastic that is over the top of your headlight, either remove it or move it out of the way, 3. the plug is located under the plastic piece. It will have to be rotated 1/4 turn then pull straight back. The bulb is in the socket. 4. pull bulb from socket and take to parts store and give them the numbers off your old one. Install in reverse order. ****Special Note: Do NOT touch the bulb with your fingers. The oil off your hands will blow the bulb. I usually use a napkin or anything similar. Good luck. I hope this gets you going. The bulb is probably under $10.00 and can be changed in about 5-10 minutes.
