how to complain about nails?

i normally have sculptured nails and for some reason no where in sunderland deal with sculptured nails. I went into one salon today and the girl took of my acrylic nails all together and sed shed to overlays - i thought she would scult on the white acrylic tip over my nail and then the clear acrylic. she only painted on the white with normal cheap nail varnish then put the clear acrylic over the top. she charged me £27! she was very lovely an di felt so awkward i just smiled n left in a hurry but then once i got home i realised it looked like id just had a normal frnech manicure if i wanted that i cud of payed less then half of what i did! the white isnt even and doesnt look proffessional. I ended up ringing but the girl had gone home and only hairdressers were left. she was nice and sed iv every right to complain and to cal bak tomoro to spk to the girl. but i just feel so awkward what shall i say i feel stupid i didnt say anything at the time but i didnt no it wud of been nearly £30!! i dont even no what she can do to make them better cos she obv doesnt scult nails but i thouught she had the white acrylic OBV NOT! please help what shall i say?
