How to combine two photos useing photoshop?

im trying to get two photos and combine them into one useing photoshop. Anyone know how?? Please Help!
 
combine them how? side-by-side? on top of each other? of side-by-side you just need to open a new canvas that is big enough in size to fit both photos

if to put one on top of the other.. check out the "opacity" bar on the bottom right screen where the layers are.. also check out Blending mode.. change it from Normal to something else.. it might give you the effect you want
 
can u tell me where did u get the PHOTOSHOP from?? I have been trying to download it but it never works. I do have the CD but it asks for the KEY which i dnt have.
