kitty got in a fight with another cat, and apparently a scratch he got formed an abscess and it ruptured or something. i took him to the vet and they gave me pills and ointment for his wound. it's been like 5 days now and the wound is looking a lot better but i noticed that there's some dirt in it. he's an outdoor cat so it's kind of difficult to keep him from taking his dirt baths. but i apply the ointment in the wound every day + give him his pill, so does the dirt even matter? if so how should i clean it sufficiently? he's not going to let me give him a bath that's for sure...
