How to clean a game disk?

I found a game I was looking for for a while and when I put it in the wii it says error and to turn off the system and look at some handbook but w/e there's really deep scratches u tryed the easy things like toothpaste and pb are there any other really easy ways to fill in the scrat he's some how??????
