In MLA you have to have in text citations with quotes from people. However, how do you do an in text citation if the quote is from another person, but it wasn't a quote from the author of the article or book? Are you supposed to put the authors name next to the quote even tho he didn't say that quote?

For example. "xxxxxxx" ((Authors name) paragraph x).
Or "xxxxxx" ((Persons name who quoted) paragraph x).
