how to change windows media player on vista?

i want to use a different program for my songs but i cant change it on my default page on control panel. is there a way?
i have songbird and want to use it as defualt but i cant find it under default programs.
 
What I did was right click on the song file and click "Open With..." and check the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file." and choose the program you want to hear your music. Hope this helps.
