HI

I wonder if there is a way to change completely preinstalled OS,
say, I have WinMO or Symbian based mobile. What to do to succesfuly upload android OS,

to compare to well know procedure of changing from Windows to Linux etc,

Any thoughts?

Hi

and what is your current phone model ?
where u would like to install another OS ?

I did not think about any particular mobile phone,

I was thinking more of a general approach, way to do that?
Is it possible at all in any situation - mobile brand?

Practically its not possible for now due to different hardware and base software.

But some phone can be converted to different platform.

Like Some Windows Mobile came with WM OS, you can install Android and Linux.

Some phone came with Android OS, you can load Linux and Linux based OS.

that's all for now.

do you mean that WM OS is the easest to replace with other system?

1. is there a standard procedure to do that ? if so can you let us know?
2. what mobiles do you have in mind, can you name a few?

I was thinking if it is possible in the latest HTCs, other winMo mobiles, maybe Toshiba tg01 which seems to have reasonable hardware but rubish OS?
