How to change oil cooler lines on 1994 chevy extended cab pu?

one of the lines is bad, and leaks. my dad checked it out and looks simple until you get to where they go in by the oil filter. do you just stick them in there and they fit right in or is there more to it? thank you
 
I've done this job before a few times, and they are a little tricky to replace due to the limited amount of room to access the tube nuts at the end of the lines at the oil filter mounting. They are threaded in place; use wrench to unscrew them. Be careful at the oil cooler end of them...you don't want to damage the oil cooler. Use penetrating oil on stubborn connections.
