i bought a new shifter nob yesterday for my dodge ram 2500 and i don't know how to get the old one off. so i need some help on how to get it off the stick. does anyone know how? yesterday i tried to screw it off and it wouldn't turn. i also tried to grip it with plyers and all that did was indent the nob. my truck is a dodge ram 2500 cummins diesel year 2001 if that helps.
