how to change default photo viewer?

i downloaded a new photo editing software, and it automatically set itself as my default photo viewer. how can i change this?

you can right click on a file that is associated with it, and select "open with" and then click on another program and then tick " always use the selected program to open this kind of file"
(this is the only way I know of)
 
when you about to open a picture file, right click on the file and select "OPEN WITH." and then click "CHOOSE DEFAULT PROGRAM." it will show you a list of installed programs on your pc. choose that program that you want to use and also click the box that says "ALWAYS USE THE SELECTED PROGRAM TO OPEN THIS KIND OF FILE." then click OK. if you do not see the the program you want listed, click "BROWSE" and then search for the program in you files. when you find the program, double click on the application icon, and then check the box and click OK.
