how to can i send electronics to mexico?

hi everybody i want to send some electronics such as tv and a laptop to mexico, i was plannig to send them through usps cause people says that's much secure; together with the insurance but idont know if i should send them open (as used product) or closed as (new product) i have both choices cause i just bough them and the only thing i want is that these things get in mexico and they dont take them away in the border for any reason thank for helpping me
