Show up at least 5 hours before the movie maybe even 6 hours to be safe. It's better if everyone in your group shows up early. people don't like it when one guy holds like5 or 6 spots in the line when the people aren't even there. Especially when they show up like 30 min before show time.
Take enough money to buy food unless you can sneak some in.
Definitely take some cards or something to keep you entertained while you wait.
EDIT:
It's worth it to watch the movie with the real fans who will appreciate it. I hate watching movies with the half ass fans that talk and make noise during the movie and really hate when they are laughing during sad parts.
