How to Burn a DVD rom to windows media player...?

My mom is a newscaster and she had been given a DVD rom containing all of her segments on it. She would like it burned to the computer so that we can later burn it to another DVD rom which she wants to send to someone. Is it possible to somehow burn the DVD Rom to the Computer using Windows Media Player?
