I work out 5 days a week, three of those I lift weights ( with machines ) I'm really trying to build up muscle and add definition specially to my arms, how should I exercise ? more weight, less repetitions ? less weight, more repetitions ? how many sets and how many days in betwen to let muscles recup ? Please help, any advise would be great

If you're trying to get more difinition you must to more repetiotions with lighter weight.

I work out 5 times a week and I do a body part a day.
ex.
Mondays chest
tuesdays back
wed shoulders
thurs legs
fri biceps and triceps
If you follow these rules you'll be ripped in no time

For definition you would use less weight with more reps. Try these guide lines.

- Keep the sets under 4
- Keep the reps under 20
- And ALWAYS make sure you are useing the muscle

Light weight consentration sets work wonders.

Lifting weights is the only true way to transform your bodie's shape. By lifting weight you will retain and possibley put on muscle, thereby increasing your metabolism, making it easier to burn fat, and improving your physical appearance. Lifting weights should be your priority, cardio can come second.

Take a day break after a workout to let your body rest and muscles recover so workout every other day. The best thing that works for me is 5 sets of 4 reps. I do benchpress, deadlift, squats, and others but try to mix it up every other week
