I'm a university student living in a rented house. I live on the 3rd floor and the router's on the first floor and because of that, I'm not getting full wireless signals in my room. I have an ethernet jack in my room and a friend told me to get a router and hook that up with the ethernet port in my room and that way, I'll get full signals. Will that work? I can't replace the original router since it's not mine so I need a solution in my own room. I'm looking for the cheapest solution possible. Any recommendations?
