I've had a phone for 2 years. For 2 years I've been receiving daily text messages from Yahoo! weather; messages were initiated by a Yahoo! account holder other than me. Yahoo wouldn't do anything about it, and cell phone provider could/would only block all text messaging, on top of charging for every message received. :-(
Reply back to the message with "STOP" and that turns off the Yahoo! weather text service.
Now, why couldn't either company have said that in the first place?
