How to: BlackBerry to Cricket 8830 or any other BB

where do i do this? I've played around with this phone for a few hours and i'm now at crickets ota menu, not that i'm trying to ota it, i just do that to make sure i'm going to cricket when i'm done. I never used unipst, I used desktop manager, qxdm, and qpst btw, and i also skipped the step where you change the spc to 6 zeroes since i have a verizon branded 8830 i just figured the spc would already be set to that. All i'm wondering now is do i only need to call cricket now, and have them activate this phone to my account? And if so, do i need to tell them its a different phone like i did when i activated my 6700 and had to tell them it was a razr v3c or do i just call, activate, and be golden?

@milldog: Thanks for your reply .
I using winhex with Simultaneous Search function but still not find the SPC yet. Please show me how to find my SPC of my Verizon 8703e (CDMA) .
Maybe the address of Verizon different than Sprint so that it can be found.

Works with the USC Pearl as well. I couldnt get QXDM to work for me, kept getting some syntax error no matter what command I typed in. Ill just manually program it though since I dont want to risk the SPC changing if I try and change it with QPST. Thanks berry and samsung for all this info. :buddies:

Don't use qpst to flash the blackberry to cricket. It changes the spc code and there isn't anything out there that will read it for you. Is there anyone here that has any ideas how to read the spc on a 7130e blackberry? I have tried bit pim, unicdma, cdma workshop, qxdm, etc. none of these have helped. PLEASE HELP ME>

I have been able to flash 7250's with infosoft pst just fine, I can confirm that qpst changes the SPC. The big question right now is how to find the blackberry spc code once it is lost. I have tried using unicdma and tested several starting addresses to no avail. I have ten blackberrys sitting here waiting to be flashed and sold, and i will have 25 7130e's soon....so if someone will provide me with the permanent solution to finding cdma blackberry spc's I would love to compensate!
the blackberrys i have are from sprint, verizon, and "Bell" The Bell ones say that they have been programmed too many times and can no longer be programmed (figuring out how to fix that problem would be a doozy!)
Solutions I have tried to find spc:
Bitpim on both mac and pc has never connected (i have read threads saying that if you uninstall blackberry desktop and reinstall drivers bitpim will see the blackberry but i tried it it didnt work...maybe i could try it again? The thing is, i am using infosoft pst along with the blackberry desktop and works just fine (COM 1 is the key)
unicdma: reads the spc code as "unknown" I have tried to search it with different starting addresses and byte amounts but it never produces a bin file for me to search for the spc code in.
Used JL_Cmder to wipe the phones and re-installed OS. The spc does not reset to 000000 much to my chagrin.
I dont think cdma workshop has been able to even see the blackberry.
qpst, qxdm and upst are all useless to flash the phone if the SPC is unknown. I need to figure out how to program them or i am losing money. Please help. Thanks

i\ve been able to get spc from memory dumps using unicdma to get the dump and then winhex to find em....sounds dumb but sometimes it resets spc to 000008...

and i always give credit as well...just the way it should be done...

I'm still working on it. I have tried a lot of different memory dumps. I'm beginning to think this phone is bricked and will never be able to be used again. I chalk it up to experience. Unless there is a superhero on here that can solve this problem.
