Below is how to flash the blackberry and reset spc to all 0. If you read below and you still have question i don't know what to answer you because it nothing else that i know. Be patient and really patient. Dont just ask question just keep trying and you will see the answer to your question. DO NOT USE QPST BECAUSE YOU CAN FLASH WITH QPST BUT AFTER YOU FLASH YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO PROGRAM THE PHONE. GOOD LUCK


To load PRL to blackbery

you need QXDM 2.08 is the best version

copy your prl to c drive i repeat c drive

conncect your phone with desktop manager. I will show you the device connected and also the esn of your phone too on the bottom sceen of the desktop manager.

open qxdm (leave the desktop manager open) go to communication(under one of the menu) and choose the comport that your phone connected on.

use the following command line:

type mode offline-d and then press enter

type spc "your6digitsMSL" and then press enter

type pr_list_wr 0 "C:\thenameofyourprl.prl" and then press enter

if you want to reset your spc to 000000 (this is for sprint or any phone that the spc are not 0)

type nv_write sec_code {"000000"} and then press enter

type "mode reset" and then press enter to reset the phone and you are done loading prl.

Unplug your phone and make a test call.

Not a problem. Most of noob don't like to read and try it out themselve they're to chicken try or too lazy to read (No sacrifice No victory). So we have to feed them. I don't mind feeding them as long as they don't bite the one that feeded them. That all. Enjoy
 
Hi, Thanx for nice tutorial, but can you explain more detailed :), I have connected BB with Desktop Manager:

And what port I should set in QXDM->Options->Communication when I have only one possible COM1:

your BB comport should be 32 or 33 have a restart on your computer if you have your prolific serial plug-in unplug them too. then run desktop manager first and then qxdm 2.08
 
So, I can't use my BB8830 for internet browsing? My provider turn off data support and phone works only in voice mode. Because when data mode is on phone show Error 538 or Error 548 (after reboot)? What this errors mean?
 
Hey Samsung,
Not just you but alot of members advise people on what ports certain drivers are on and most likely that won't help out most people.
As an example, the RIM virtual serial ports on my PC are on 3 and 5.
The ports are assigned by availability. Somebody who has a ****load of devices on their PC is never going to have the same ports available as the next person who hasn't installed anything on his PC.
Just a friendly comment. Like I said I have seen other members advise on port numbers as well and it might just cause some confusion instead of helping.
