How to be intimate with someone with HPV?

If you are truely with this guy for the long run then you'll have to take this risk, HPV is highly contagious and the best defence are condoms. Condoms will not protect you 100%! if you aren't planning on spending the rest of your life with this bloke then what I say next may be harsh but seriously; just break it off with him now, HPV isn't worth the risk, especially a woman.

There is also a vaccine to stop genital warts becoming cancerous, but it won't protect you against the virus itself

Firstly your partner should be getting treatment for the HPV virus their are many good treatments out their you just need to find out which type of appropriate treatment he needs. The HPV virus is more prevalent than the common cold. You may already have had it yourself for years and have never known about it as its not always visibly detectable, you can ask a health care worker for a check up to see if you carry the HPV virus. If you found out you did have HPV then you guys shouldn't have any issues at all. If as you should hope you do not have the HPV virus then you must get your boyfriend to find a treatment and use the Extra strong condoms of a good quality like the well known Durex brand or similar for intimate activity's. You don't need to worry to much if your partner gets his problem treated he may never become actively infectious again after treatment. The problem with the HPV is that it remains in your system for life and their is a potential that the infectious stage will flare up again at a later date.
"Its estimated that 80% of all Americans will be infected with HPV during their lives".

My boyfriend (39) and I (27) have been dating for about 3 months. Soon into our relationship, he told me that he has HPV. We have not had sex yet but, want to share this experience with each other very much. However, he does not want to pass the disease along to me and I am nervous about how to protect myself since this is passed via skin contact. I know that sex isn't everything but, it is generally an important aspect of a relationship. Does anyone have any thoughts/guidance on how to handle this situation?
