I am wondering how i can graduate as an honor graduate? What has to happen? How do I become Platoon Leader?

hahahaha you wanna be the platoon leader? so you want other people to carry your weight for you? enough said....

Honestly, be good at drill. If you want to be a outstanding recruit and Marine be in tip top shape 20 pull ups, 100 crunches in 2 mins and an 18 minute 3 mile , qualify expert on the rifle range, be motovated, and a good leader. If you can do all that you will be in the running for honor grad. But if you aren't very good at drill, then I highly doubt you will be guide. Maybe honor grad, but most of the time the guide is honor grad. Don't worry so much about what you do in boot camp, worry about what you do when you get to the fleet, because that's where it counts. Just remember this a Marines "true colors" start to show at MOS school, sometimes even as early as MCT. So just remember that. Good luck, stay moto, and don't worry boot camp will seem easy once you graduate lol. Oh by the way you will get an award at boot camp graduation if you get the highest PFT or highest rifle score

It's all about Leadership. You have to show some real Leadership ability. There will be about 50 or 60 other recruits in your platoon you will be competing against. You have to show the DI's you can lead the PLT in acomplishing tasks such as close order drill and inspections. Boot Camp will NOT be easy but if you want to be Honor graduate it will be even harder.
Leadership is the most important factor, others things they look for is Excellent physical fitness ( highest score on the PT test), and marksmanship (shoot Expert during rifle qualification.

Under Obama's administration, claim you are gay and if you dont get the job as a Platoon leader then sue.

you need to very good at marching and following commands, and be willing to put out( quarterdeck) if someone in your squad fcks up, also be in top shape. usually platon leaders dont last more than 2 weeks during boot camp cause they get fired along with squad leaders ,but if you are the lucky enough to make all the way to graduation your pretty much guarantee you'll be pfc/lcpl when you graduate boot camp .

its easier said than done
