How to adjust clutch pedal on 1995 Honda civic?

I have a 1995 civic ex and I need to know how to adjust the clutch pedal. I have a haynes manual but the instructions don't make any sense to me. Can anyone tell me how to go about doing this?
The haynes manual tell how i just dont understand the directions. I have already bled the system but it still doesn't feel right.
