How to adjust a language in Word document whenever I want another language?

I have this huge problem. I'm a student who has to write his assignments in both English and my native language. Our professors are very strict when it comes to spell checking. The problem is this one: whatever I do, I CAN NOT adjust my word document to be in English! It underlines me every word because only language in which is adjusted is my native language! And i desperately need him to adjust it in English, which would also mean to have a spell checker for English, grammar checker for English, etc. I tried EVERYTHING! Tools-language = NOTHING! start-all programs.microsoft office-microsoft office language settings = NOTHING!! I really don't know what to do anymore, I'm desperate! Is there anything I could do to adjust the language of a word document whenever i want/need another language?
 
write it in notepad which has no spell check

theres also a button near the botton wer it shud hav US English click on that and change the language
