i just put a new clutch and pressure plat in my jeep and to get it in gear i have to shove it. i believe the clutch isnt releasing all the way. what do i need to do?

hydraulic system is it not if it is you have to pump and bleed ... best doen with two people one to pump and hold other to release bleeder

I think it is self adjusting hydraulic system. Is there a clutch master cylinder? My brother has one and he had the very same problem and it needed the flywheel machined because it was dished and it would drag with the pedal to the floor. You need to remove the transmission, clutch, and flywheel, have the flywheel machined and install a new disk and clutch cover and reinstall the transmission.

First you need to check the hydraulic clutch fluid level in the reservoir. Make sure it is near the full mark. If it is low, you may need to bleed any air from the system. This will require another person to depress the clutch pedal and hold while you crack open the bleeder screw located on the slave cylinder near where the piping goes into the bell housing. Close the bleeder and have your assistant raise the pedal. Repeat until satisfactory pedal is achieved. Don't let the reservoir get too low.
