How to add iPod to Toyota?

I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla with a factory 6-CD Disc changer and I was wondering how I connect my iPod to it. I know how to remove my stereo system, I just don't know if I need just an auxiliary cable to hook up my iPod or if I need to shell out like $100+ for one of those iPod Car Adapters. Any thoughts of anyone having done this with a similar model?
 
You can buy a FM transmitter and just plug and play. Otherwise you can get an aftermarket radio that allows you to plug in an iPod and it should work. These are the other 2 ways as far as I know.
