how to add insurance to my buyer item on eBay?

Just log in to PayPal, click "Request Money," type in the buyer's e-mail address, and PayPal will send them an invoice for the amount you need for insurance. If insurance will cost $2.50 or so, make sure to add another 40 cents or so to cover your PayPal fee.
