how to add fish to a tank with a bass?

well i have a bass (about 12 inches) and hes a largemouth...and when hes hungry...he gets grumpy....but i had a few fish in there a convict...and a electric blue cichlid..who died of illness or (naturally) but i added a dragon goby...and 2 convicts...and he is even so mean...i had a snail which died in the tank...and i was cleaning the tank..the shell was still in their..i stired it up and he got the shell in his mouth and broke it into pieces....but my question is...there is other fish in his tank...a pleco...3 dempsey...an african cichlid...and a green texas cichlid...and it lookes empty in there now...and he usually doesnt attack fish when hes not hungry.. (naturally) so i was thinking..i need a STRONG!! fish...that i can put in there when hes not hungry..that he later wont destroy...any ideas??
i have a bass cuzz i had acess to one...and its a "small" tank to some...but trust me its got PLENTY of room..its a 55 gallon
i have 3 oscars...and 3 pacu...in a 125 gallon tank...and i could put the bass in their...but theres to problems...one...the water is 70 degrees...which is good for the pacu and oscars...but idk if the bass could adapt...and the pacu eat bass...i have given the bass before..not live bass but bass meat...and i think they would destroy him...they dont mess around..and arnt picky...they only leave the oscars alone cuzz there about equal size...soo...
he'd eat any goldfish that i'd put in their..idc how big thy are..they'd be dinner
and i give him goldfish ..about 25 a week

that like so cool how u have a bass. um for a fish u can go to walmart, and get the very large goldfish, i rather go with a fancy goldfish because they dont need as big as tanks as long bodie goldfish, its your choice, both have pro's and cons. the problem is with your fish, unlike most pet fish he needs to be feed often, and u cant no when he is always hungry, and freshwater fish, most are not sold large, every fish at stores are small but, some goldfish, some Oscars, some flower horns,, and some eels. i suggest u feed him so feeder goldfish, found at walmart for low price, and get goldfish since they are so hardy.
