How to access the US Playstation Store?

my account is set in the U.K, but i changed my region to the U.S, restarted the PS3, and i still cant access the U.S Store... is there a way other than creating a new account? Because i already have created one but it didnt keep my funds from my wallet.
 
if you are in the UK you cannot access it due to Copyright infringements, Video games and films are broke down into 3 regions Europe Asia and the Americas, you would have to use the store in your home country
