how to a ride a bike...help this?

ok..im a boy,5'7 height..since child i dnt have a bike..and now im 19 years old and still don't know how to ride a bike,is this a embbarassment that a guy like me dont know how to bike? pls i want to learn,but im afraid that some people see this freaking out that a guy 5' 7 tall guy learn how to bike...help me this..
