How surprised were you when Eric Bischoff debuted in WWE as Raw GM?

I was, like alot of people, shocked. I think that night proved Vince will do business with pretty much anyone (besides Randy Savage at the moment) to draw interest, or if he thinks its right. I definately think it was a right move. People say he did to to say his one time rival worked for him, but I think we got a very entertaining GM out of it, and I'd like to see him come back someday (even though I dont think he will).

BQ: How sucessful would Dynamite Kid of been in the WWF if he debuted as a singles competitor without Davey Boy Smith?
I actually thing Bischoffs debut was one of the last truly surprising things in wrestling
**Whooops...think

It was a shock to me. I didn't know what role Eric was actually playing behind the scenes, then considering all the ex-WCW wrestlers that were in the WWE when he arrived and so many didn't like him (mostly Ric Flair)...it was a complete shock that he showed up. Seeing the head of WCW appear on WWE tv was the biggest shocker at that time since Vince bought WCW.

BQ: He might not have done that great. He was a great wrestler, but he just did not have the mic skill or charisma to make it there.

Now if you ask me how he would've done in the NWA in the 80's without Davey Boy...I'll say you would've been seeing a future NWA world champion that would've had some classics with Ric Flair.

But either way Davey Boy had more character and charisma than Dynamite, which is why he then went on to become a good singles wrestler.

Dynamite's style of wrestling was just made for Japan anyway, which is why he was so successful there.
