How soon to feed the fish & how often?

Hi! I just got two fish; a female blue guppy and another fish (the name escapes me - sorry! but it's orange). I waited twenty minutes to fully transition them into the tank, and all went well. They are swimming fine and enjoying the large tank now. I was wondering if I need to feed them today, or should I start tomorrow? And how many servings a day do they need to be fed? Some tell me 6 small servings, and some tell me 2 servings a day. Thanks!
 
I would wait until tomorrow morning. Then only feed them a pinch-full of food. Feeding them every other day is usually the best, it avoids over feeding them which can cause a dirty tank and sick fish.
