How soon do you need to wash off Crayola Washable paint?

I want to brighten up my room but don't want to have to worry about covering up permanent paint when I move out. I want to use washable markers and/or washable finger paint on them, and then just scrub it off... does anyone know if you need to wash the paint off within a certain number of days/weeks or something in order to not leave a stain?

I wouldn't suggest that. plaster walls are pourous. I have kids and washable markers. Even when I attack the mark right away(within minutes) I can't always get it all out. The color can absorb into the wall. By "washable" they mostly mean it comes off skin easily. Just my experience too but washing walls can cause the regular paint to scrub off.

Have you considered removable wall stickers? you an get them at the home decor stores, walmart and home depot
