How soon before orders to a new duty station does the Army pack your household items?

My husband and I are in Alaska right now and our orders say we leave here beginning of Nov. and we're having a baby due in Sept. I'm wondering when the Army comes to pack or take our household items. And right now we're in an apartment, but once they take our stuff do we go stay in Lodging? Sorry for all the questions but this will be our first move to a new duty station and any and all info is welcome! Thanks =)
Btw: I'm not in the Army my husband is.
