sexual transmitted diseases? I had sex recently with someone recently without condom. Not something i usually do. Keep worrying about getting a disease want to get tested but feel it may be too early. It has only been a week should i get tested as soon as possible or wait a little bit more?
 
Some STDs would have symptoms by now. Others you can probably get tested for anti-bodies at the 2 week mark.

An HIV test will not detect the presence of the HIV virus immediately after exposure. Statistics show that 96% (perhaps higher) of all infected individuals will test positive within 2 to 12 weeks. In some cases, this may take up to six months.
 
go for a test now and for another within 6 months. the current test will check whether you are infected and the 6 months later test will verify the result. abstain from sexual contact until you receive the verification
