My fiance was planning on joining later on in the year but now after his hours were cut at his job he is joining sooner (I think he plans to go talk to them next week.) I'm just wondering how soon afterward will he be sent to boot camp. He's thinking Aug. but it seems to soon to get all the paper work and pre-conditioning done. I'm honestly not knowing what to expect.
How soon after signing up for marines do they get shipped to boot camp?
