i wouldn't advise using that specific exercise machine until about 2 or 3 weeks after the surgery. when doctors enter the womb through the stomach, they cut through fat, muscle, and the uterus itself of course. so any stretching of the abdominal muscles will cause the stitching to re-open and the uterus possibly to rip in the area where it was cut. so, instead try walking (although it's nobody's favorite) climbing up and down the stairs and walking in place. you should also never overexert yourself after the baby. you don't want to hurt yourself.
