I'm watching a documentary on Ethiopia called "The Bride was Seven" and its talking about child brides and its so sad and sick. They talked to two 10 year old girls married to a 21 year old man, and both girls have an active sexual relationship with their husband - and they haven't even had their periods yet! 
They talked to two men who said their mothers were married to their fathers when they were just 7 years old. It said 50% of married Ethiopian girls are under the age 15! Parents marry their daughters off very young because they want to secure the girl's life with a man before they die. Isn't this so sad?
