Unfortunately, under the law your animals are considered property. "Murder" does not apply to property, only to human beings. It is mostly civil law, not criminal law, that covers this.
Your options are as follows:
1. Find out the animal cruelty laws in your area, and see that they are applied to your situation.
2. Hire a lawyer and pursue a civil case for destruction of property.
