How should we clean up all the debris in Space?

It would be a good project for NASA. They could send the space shuttle and dock with the trash and put it in the cargo bay. before they return to base. They could even destroy the Satellite and put the shuttle into a lower orbit where it would burn up before hitting the ground.
 
As far as I'm aware, there is no practical method at all of clearing space debris, and It may become a major problem in the future. As such, I see only two options: 1) Built sturdier spacecraft and satellites that can deflect high speed projectiles, and 2) wait until the debris burns up in the atmosphere (which will eventually happen, as most of it is in a very low orbit). This could take 100 years or more though.

EVA's may also become a thing of the past if the problem intensifies. Travelling at more than 10 times the speed of a bullet, even a small projectile could be enough to kill an astronaut.
 
It will become a huge issue in the future. It could be deflected by rocket technology or blown up by lasers. The problem with blowing up debris is that some shards can make it through earth's atmosphere causing damage. Only small pieces will burn up in the atmosphere.
 
Figure out a way to utilize the vacuum in space to siphon it all up -er- somethin.
 
I completely forgot bout the documentary bout this i saw on discovery science...they mentioned something bout a unique computerized telescope finding the debris and shooting it with lasers or something (i completely forgot bout the lazer part)

But i assure u there is a particular way
 
NASA and the Military report that there are some 17,000 significant items of debris orbiting the Earth in space. All of these objects can become dangerous to space launches or existing satellites that are already in orbit. What would be the easiest way to clean up all of this junk and prevent future collisions with working systems and operating space flights?
