How should I write my argument for my class debate?

In class we are debating whether being a good person is better than being great and having power (and vice versa). My group is for the "good person" side. I am supposed to be delivering an argument about WHY virtue is better. I have some good points but I need help actually writing the thing down! What would make it a good argument? What evidence or examples could I use?
Anything is appreciated!

P.S- I KNOW it is bad timing but the debate is tomorrow! I don't think we will do well. :(
