Freshman year of high school through junior year I met after school with a few friends to work on our own project with my technology teacher in the classroom. it was getting an old dune buggy running again. i was in charge of everything that went on but this was never an official club recognized with the school. we tried to get it recognized but we didn't have enough people. On the form I was listed as president. We still decided to meet anyway. The meetings were not formal meetings though. It was whenever we could get together and whenever we had free time during open blocks. (does this still count as a club)
Midway through Junior year we completed the task of getting the dune buggy running. My teacher suggested that I sell the buggy for parts as it would be a good learning experience and he needed it out of the classroom. I did this part on my own and learned a ton about business.
My question is how should this be listed under activities on the common app. Should i write president of a club? and how should i list the selling of all the parts on my application.
