How should I wear my hair for an dance this Friday, it is an 8th grade formal?

I have blonde very very thick hair. it is lighter blonde in the front( when up it is the top) then in the back, and it is also straiter where it is lighter. I do not want anything that is too hard or takes too much time, i also do not want a bun. My dress for the dance is a light blueish teal thing, if u can pictures would help.

I also have thick blonde hair. I just love wearing mine down with curls. Scrunch ur hair for curls. If you have bangs straighten them out.
 
Straiten it: its not too causual and not too formal. Do it in sections, i have very similar hair to yours and that usually works for me. If your struggeling to stand out, make your eyelashes really long with an eyelash curler and loads of mascara (im talking about liek 5 layers or more of different kinds of mascara) or coloured eyeliner
 
Straighten it or curl it and do like a little pump or puff on the top of your hair!
