I just started a job selling jewelry and got no training on how to present the four C's to customers when it comes to buying diamonds. My boss wants to role-play a scenario where he comes in to buy an engagement ring. The thing is, I don't think he wants to hear that I know the technical info as much as he wants to see I relate it to the customer and overcome objections. I studied up on the technical specifications and what each of the four C's mean, but what do I say if he simply says "I don't know what I want", or if he seems like the info I give him is over his head?
What are the terms I can use to refer to the information in various ways that both informs as well as relates to the customer's ability to understand what I'm saying? Thanks for any help!
