how should i protect my comic books?

i have started to collect comic books and would like to know how i should protect them. what is the best comic book bag? what card board should i get and what size box? and what is the size of the batman comic book?
 
Next time your in your local comic book store, they should sell them there, just grab a pack of standard bags and standard backboards and you should be good
