Senior prom is coming up in a few months, and there areway too many factors going into my decision process right now. Basically, I'm torn between two guys who want to take me, as well as my group of friends and their plans. We have everything planned out, I just need a date and I don't know which guy to choose.
Guy 1: I've been closer to this guy for longer, he's very sweet and was one of the first people I met when I transferred to my current school. When my boyfriend and I broke up, he always asked me how I was doing, how the situation was, if we were gettig back togethr, etc. after I assured him I was gettig back together with my ex, we became really close friends. He's always very touchy-feely, coming up behind me and giving me hugs, grabbing my hands, stuff like that. I can definitely see myself in a relationship with him, if he wants one; same with a date to senior ball. The only issue with this plan is, he and I don't have the same group of friends. I really want to go with my group to senior ball and take pictures, etc. But I don't want to take him away from his group of friends, so idk how it would work out.
Guy 2: this guy is friends with several of the people in my group, so he would definitely fit my plans for prom. He's really nice and we text a lot: he trusts me, and I trust him. He isn't as flirty as the first guy and I can't tell if he likes me as more than a friend he can go to prom with, but he always asks me what m plans are and if I have a date yet, and several friends said that he's planning to ask me to senior. The problem is, three or four of my closest friends cannot stand this guy, and I definitely consider their opinions important. They don't want me to go with him.
What should I do? Both guys would be fun: the first guy a better date and the second fitting my plan better.
