So my ex boyfriend and I broke up 5-months ago now, but we still talk frequently. We used to live together, but he broke up with me over long distance. He basically said that it's a "break," and he'd like to eventually get back together. I got to be very close with his best friend, and we talk frequently. My ex is not ok with this and has basically forbidded me to ever communicate with his friend again. However his friend still initiates contact with me, and we sometimes talk about my ex. He is someone that I would like to be good friends, and we have hung out a couple of times. Whenever my ex finds out we are spending time together he gets really mad and keeps saying things like his friend isn't mine. He doesn't want us talking, and he thinks I should respect that. However, I still want to remain friends with his best friend. So what should I do?
