How should I go about writing the funeral scene for my short story?

The chapter would be in 1st person from the point of Abasi. He has just lost his beloved wife, A'ala, to a car crash.
I don't know how to write this as I have no experience of this sort of thing, and I have never been in love so that doesn't really help.
Things like:
* The sentence structure
* The type of literary devices I should use
* The language
