Recently I received a letter stating that in the case against the person who broke into my apartment I was to get restitution as a part of his probated sentence. I have not gotten any of the money. How would I go about collecting this money? Do I have to wait on him to pay or can I have someone "buy" it and let them worry about payment to them?
